News from the Greek energy market:

The 1st Thessaloníki Summit (Thessaloníki Summit 2016) was held from 13 to 14 October 2016.
Over 60 accomplished professionals coming from different fields, such as development policy making, forward-thinking entrepreneurs, European Commission officials, Greek and foreign states people, academics and business consultants discussed the following topics:
• geopolitical upheaval,
• management of refugee flows,
• the outgoing attitude to be adopted by the Greek economy,
• attracting investments, and,
• development prospects of the economy in strategic sectors such as energy, tourism and culture.
A speaker at the Summit was HEDNO Chairman and CEO, Mr. Ν. Chatziargyriou (Α.1)

European news:

The College of Europe organized a conference entitled “The UK Unplugged: Brexit and the internal energy market” and hosted a number of experts from both the academic and business sectors who presented their views on the effects to be brought about on the EU energy market and the industry by the UK leaving the EU (Β.3).

Upcoming events

RAE is organizing a day conference themed: "Pilot competitive bidding process for photovoltaic installations" on Friday, October 21, 2016 at 10:00 am at the ceremony room of the NTUA Administration building, at the Zografou district (C.1).
