3rd Announcement by HEDNO on the application of Ministerial Decision ΥΠΕΝ/ΔΑΠΕΕΚ/74462/2976 (GG 3150/Β/30.07.2020) for the installation of small wind turbine plants with installed capacity lower than or equal to 60 kW

Following our announcements dated 30.09.2020 and 16.10.2020 regarding the application of Ministerial Decision ΥΠΕΝ/ΔΑΠΕΕΚ/74462/2976 (GG 3150/Β/30.07.2020) for the installation of small wind turbine plants with installed capacity lower than or equal to 60 kW, HEDNO would like to inform all interested parties about the following:
The submission of applications for the connection of small wind turbine plants with installed capacity lower than or equal to 60 kW starts on Monday 02.11.2020.
- Applications for the installation of small wind turbine plants with installed capacity lower than or equal to 60 kW for only self-producers that have entered net metering or virtual net metering will be received by the competent Regions. Respective applications for independent producers, shall be received by the Islands Network Operation Department (Syggrou 98-100).
- All applications with their respective files shall be submitted by mail only, sent either to the Islands Network Operation Department or the Competent Regions. Upon submission, a reference number shall be issued strictly based on the order of submission to the respective Units of HEDNO. Then, applications shall be reviewed by HEDNO to verify they are complete and correct, always by keeping strict priority order on the basis of the protocol/reference number that has been issued.
Connection applications that are confirmed as complete and correct, with all required documentation as these have been specified in the Connection Application form, shall be accepted by HEDNO and shall be entered in the priority order list for receiving the Final Connection Offer. In this case, HEDNO shall be sending a written notification to the Producer including their reference number and confirming that their application has been accepted as complete and correct.
Applications with errors, omissions or discrepancies between the details and the documentation provided, shall be rejected and returned to the applicant together with the reason of the return explained in written and in detail by mail, with the shipping costs burdening the applicant.
