Announcement by HEDNO, as Operator of the Non-Interconnected Islands (NII), on the billing of RES Stations in the NII for February 2026
30 March 2026
We would like to announce that HEDNO, in its capacity as Operator of the Non-Interconnected Islands (NII), posted on 23.03.2026 the Billing Notes for RES Producers operating in the NII for the billing period of February 2026.
It is noted that, in the current February 2026 billing, the Billing Notes for the Retroactive Billing of PV Stations falling under Article 48 of Law 4951/2022 on the “Upgrading of the energy equipment of PV Stations” were also posted. The NII Operator compiles a list of PV Stations, in accordance with paragraph 3 of Article 48 of Law 4951/2022, which is updated for each control year from 2022 onwards with PV Stations whose annual production shows a significant increase, as defined in paragraph 2 of Article 48 of the aforementioned law. The portion of energy constituting a significant increase is remunerated with the Annual Special Purchase Price (ASPP) of point (d) of paragraph 1 of Article 48 of the above law, as calculated by DAPEEP.
Pursuant to paragraph 5 of Article 48 of Law 4951/2022, Producers of PV Stations included in the list for the audit year 2025 have the right to submit an application until 23/05/2026 to the NII Operator for the conduct of an on-site inspection, in order to demonstrate that no energy upgrade of the original generating equipment of their Station has taken place. In the event that it is demonstrated that the Station has not undergone an energy upgrade, the NII Operator compensates the Station at the Reference Price (RP) governing its contract and returns the amounts of the retroactive pricing that were offset in application of paragraph 4 of Article 48 of Law 4951/2022.
The Billing Notes are available online in the RES & CHP Online Clearance Notes System. The app is available here https://apps.deddie.gr/ApeInvoicesInfo/intro.html or by visiting a shortcut from the HEDNO website under the “Non-interconnected Islands” section, in the “RES Producers Application” tab.
