Modernisation of the Distribution Network Control Centre (DNCC)
We completed the modernization of the Attica KEDD through the supply and installation of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition Data Management System (SCADA-DMS) and Remote Terminal Units (RTUs) at the High/Middle Voltage (HV/MV) substations, as well as the reorganization of its individual units.
Completion of all works:
- New Central Control System (CCS) SCADA-DMS of the Attica Region Directorate (DPA):
Operational since April 2014. We have gradually connected all High/Mid Voltage substations, as well as some Medium/Low Voltage substations, through new or compatible remote control units (RTUs).
Additional work:
- Updated the electronic diagrams of the Medium Voltage networks in SCADA-DMS, which are now available to staff.
- We completed training of operations staff on the new SCADA-DMS diagrams and DMS applications.
- We consolidated the three (3) KEDDs (Athens, N. Ionia, Pallini) with the Athens TADD and completed the receipt of the new SCADA-DMS Disaster Recovery KSE.

Upgrading of network management capabilities, studies and training of relevant staff.
Homogenisation of remote-controlled systems.
