HEDNO Announcement on the Acceptance of Connection Requests for the Addition of energy storage to existing and new RES stations receiving Operating Aid in compliance with Article 56, Law 5261/2025 (Gov. Gazette A’ 231/12.12.2025) via an independent converter

Pursuant to Article 56 of Law 5261/2025, whereby Article 11G of Law 4685/2020 (“Addition of storage units to existing and new Renewable Energy Sources (RES) stations”) was amended, the Network Operator informs interested parties that the acceptance of applications has been reactivated for the addition of energy storage systems to existing and new RES stations, in accordance with paragraph 1 of Article 11G of Law 4685/2020, as in force, via an independent converter, for the Interconnected Network.

Connection requests are submitted via the online platform. Access requires authentication through the GSIS (General Secretariat for Information Systems), exclusively using the applicant entity’s TAXISnet credentials, and is available during the first ten (10) days of each month.
