HEDNO Announcement on the possibility of extending the installation period and grid capacity reservation for stations under the “Photovoltaics on the Roof” and “Photovoltaics in the Field” Programmes, pursuant to Article 97(16) of Law 4951/2022, as in force

25/08/26

HEDNO informs interested parties that, pursuant to Article 97(16) of Law 4951/2022 (Government Gazette A’ 129/04.07.2022), as added by Article 61(3) of Law 5325/2026 (Government Gazette A’ 122/31.07.2026), photovoltaic stations under the “Photovoltaics on the Roof” and “Photovoltaics in the Field” Programmes which, as at 1 August 2026, have not been constructed and whose Final Connection Offers have expired, or for which the grid capacity reservation has ceased to apply (expiry of the Connection Agreement), may be reinstated and their validity periods extended, provided that, by 15/09/2026, the Installation and Grid Capacity Reservation Extension Fee is paid to DAPEEP and a “Request for Extension of the Validity of the Final Connection Offer” is submitted via the Online Application Platform for RES and HECHP Stations, accompanied by the Certificate of Payment of the Grid Capacity Reservation Fee.

Where stations under these Programmes have already been constructed, they fall within the scope of Article 32B(4) of Law 4951/2022 and, consequently, the provisions set out in HEDNO’s announcement of 14.08.2026 apply (https://www.deddie.gr/el/anakoinosi-tou-deddie-anaforika-me-tin-energopoiisi-kataskevasmenon-stathmon-ape-sithya-se-efarmogi-tis-par-4-tou-arthrou-32v-tou-n-4951-2022-opos-ischyei/)

Interested parties operating in the Electrical Systems of the Non-Interconnected Islands may submit the relevant request via email at market.operations.support@deddie.gr

It should be noted that, in view of the expiry of the implementation deadlines under the Recovery and Resilience Facility, stations for which the reinstatement option is exercised (pursuant to Article 97(16) of Law 4951/2022) are not eligible for funding.
