Geographic Information System (GIS) installation
We map the network locations with geographical coordinates, digitize the electrical plans and data of the Medium Voltage (MT) and Low Voltage (LV) networks and import them into the Geographic Information System (GIS). In addition, we supply and install the necessary equipment, licenses and geographical backgrounds for the nationwide coverage of our needs.
Completed works and works in progress
- We completed the procurement and installation of the geographic base layer (OSM) for the entire country as of December 2023.
- We delivered the necessary equipment (computers, plotters, scanners) to the regional divisions.
- We completed the procurement of ten LIDAR systems and three drones equipped with LiDAR and a thermal camera for automated digital mapping of the network.
- We delivered and installed 125 GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) units.
- We have digitized and integrated 68% of the Medium and Low Voltage (MV & LV) network into the GIS system. Digitization of the remaining network is currently underway.
- We created a 3D digital twin of the Attica Network.
- We provided digital data on the MV network’s routing for civil protection purposes.
