Customer telemetry
We are installing 7.5 million smart meters, replacing all conventional meters. We are consolidating 8 million meters into a new, single metering centre.
START • 2021
In 2021 and in 2022, we completed:
- The full redesign of the project, including the revision of the action plan and business plan, development of a new procurement strategy, issuance of new technical specifications, and the definition of metering and telecommunications infrastructure and technologies.
- The first phase of the tendering process for smart meters, resulting in the selection of four suppliers.
In 2022, we proceeded with:
- Conducting a tender for the procurement of metering equipment to ensure material availability.
- Initiating the pre-selection process for a telecommunications provider to meet the project’s connectivity requirements.
In 2023:
- The tender process advanced to the next phase, with final meter supplier consortia submitting their bids.
In 2024:
- The Company issued a decision to appoint provisional contractors for the metering devices, with contract signing scheduled for 2025. Additionally, a provisional contractor was selected for the Framework Agreement for the Metering Data Management System (MDM System).
- The first partial deliveries of meters are expected within the first two months of 2025.
