HEDNO Announcement on the activation of constructed RES & CHP Stations pursuant to Article 32B(4) of Law 4951/2022, as in force

HEDNO informs interested parties that, pursuant to the provisions of Article 32B(4) of Law 4951/2022, as added by Article 61(1) of Law 5325/2026, in the case of RES & HECHP stations that have already been constructed and for which, by 01/08/2026, either the validity period of the Final Connection Offer has expired or the reservation of grid capacity has ceased to apply (expiry of the Connection Agreement), interested parties may submit, by 15/09/26, via the Online Application Platform for RES and CHP Stations, either a declaration of readiness pursuant to Article 4A of Law 4414/2016 (Government Gazette A’ 149) or an application for activation marked “Declaration of Readiness or Application for Connection Activation (Article 32B(4) of Law 4951/2022)”, accompanied by all required supporting documents, as specified in the corresponding Declaration of Readiness–Application for Connection Activation forms posted on HEDNO’s website.

More specifically, interested parties operating in the Electrical Systems of the Non-Interconnected Islands may submit, by 15/09/2026, via email at market.operations.support@deddie.gr, a declaration of readiness pursuant to Article 4A of Law 4414/2016 (Government Gazette A’ 149) or an application for activation, accompanied by all the required supporting documents specified in the Activation Application Form for Stations Not Subject to Trial Operation – Self-ProducersStandard Declaration of Readiness Form.

If additional documents or information, or clarifications regarding the documents submitted, are requested, the interested party must provide them within fifteen (15) days; otherwise, the declaration of readiness pursuant to Article 4A of Law 4414/2016 or the application for activation will not be accepted. Where grid capacity is available, the Distribution Network Operator shall either issue a certificate of completion of works or proceed, as a matter of priority, with the connection of the stations concerned. Where no grid capacity is available, the interested party’s declaration of readiness pursuant to Article 4A of Law 4414/2016 or application for activation shall be rejected.
