We ensure transparent and impartial access for all electromobility users to the Electricity Distribution Network.
Electromobility
At HEDNO, we support the electrification of transport and energy transition.
Why electromobility?
We support electromobility because it plays a key role in reducing carbon dioxide emissions, increasing the penetration of Renewable Energy Sources (RES) into the energy mix, and cutting down on air and noise pollution from transportation—ultimately improving the quality of life in urban areas.
What is electromobility?
Everyone talks about electromobility, but what does it really mean? Electromobility describes the use of electric vehicles and the infrastructure that supports them. It includes various types of vehicles, hardware, software, and the necessary charging services for their daily operation.
At HEDNO, we use electric vehicles ourselves. In this context, our corporate fleet has been majorly electrified, and further electrification is planned, with the primary goal of reducing HEDNO’s carbon footprint and supporting the development of the electromobility market in Greece.
The future of electromobility
Electromobility is not just a trend – it’s the evolution of transportation. With advancing technology and increasing demand, electric vehicles are becoming more affordable, environmentally friendly, and efficient.
The adoption of electromobility contributes to the reduction of pollutant emissions and the improvement of urban quality of life. At HEDNO, we support this transition, ensuring the availability and reliability of the Distribution Network for all.

As part of the development of our services, we are introducing the new standardised MD-77 cabinet, a metal outdoor box for three-phase measurements up to 55 kVA (supplies up to No. 4).
It is installed outdoors, either when there is no building or when the measurement must be located outside the building, such as at electric vehicle charging points.
It is manufactured by a licensed installer in accordance with the technical specifications of the Hellenic Electricity Distribution Network Operator (HEDNO).
